HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED DEEP DEPRESSION?

Updated on October 3, 2014

Back in the seventies (yes, I'm old) my husband walked out and I fell into a deep depression.

Afraid I was going to have a nervous breakdown, my mother said, "Go to the doctor! Get something!"

And off I went. See, even back then we were rapidly becoming a "a pill for every ill" society. And I was desperate for some relief. However, I lucked out. My doctor refused, saying, "You're supposed to be depressed!"

So, pitiful thing that I was, I had to get through it. And I did.

Now, it seems like every other person I talk to is on some sort of psychotropic drug. Maybe that's because I'm a stress management specialist. But you can't "fix" stress by taking a pill that will actually produce more stress.

I advise my clients to ask their doctor to be their mentor in getting off these meds. (You never want to just quit-- it's too dangerous!)

Psychotropic drugs create a long term dependency. You feel absolutely terrible if you quit. But it could be much worse if you don't.

To begin with, what are they doing with our children?

And What Is Planned For The Future?

Years ago we were warned about a program being developed to map our brains. Now it has been given the go-ahead by President Obama. This will appararently be used as treatment for mental illness. Big Pharma and the Psychiatic Association are looking forward to this. They can map everybody's brain and tell them what meds they need!

This new process they are working on is supposed to be then capable of making decisions for the human race. We're already equipped with the most powerful computer, our own brains. Unless they're doped up with some of the substances previously put together by this same group that is now making us fat, depressed, apathetic.

This is a big deal. You might want to go to www.google.com for more information.

Health Takes A Back Seat To Profit

Most so called "mental problems" are actually the result of a physical disorder. But treating a physical disease isn't nearly as profitable as treating a mental disease! The top 5 pharmaceuticals gross more money than the gross national product of each of the countries on earth. 1/3 trillion a year. ( It can be fatal to ignore this, and yet we do.)

Also, a wide variety of prescription meds have been known to cause depression!

I work with a form of light therapy that has had excellent testimonials for relieving depression. Request more information about light therapy here!

Are doctors ordering a physical? - or are they just prescribing psychotropic drugs?

All of the following PHYSICAL disorders can be mistaken for mental illness!

  • Nutritional deficiencies

    Poor adrenal function

    Lack of exercise

Lack of sunshine (please link to get lit)

    Thyroid stress

    Candida

    Fibromyalgia

    Cushings disease

    Addison's disease

    Hormonal disorders

    Hypoglycemia

    Food Allergies

    Heavy metals

    Selenium toxicity

    Sleep disturbances

Dental problems (Yes! Teeth are our spark plugs!)

    Infections

    Heart problems

    Lung disease

    Diabetes

    Multiple sclerosis

    Rheumatoid arthritis

    Chronic pain and inflammation

    Cancer

    Brain tumors

    Head injury

    Multiple sclerosis

    Parkinson's disease

    Stroke

    Lupus

    Liver disease

Here is what the waiver is supposed to say

  • 1. No Psychiatry "disorder" is an actual disease.

    2. Psychotropic drugs do not resolve mental problems.

    3. Psychotropic drugs mask symptoms and have long term side effects.

    4. Psychotropic drugs create dependency and addiction.

    5. Most mental problems are c aused by a physical illness.

    6. There are many effective non-drug options for medical problems.

Do You Have A Negative Outlook On Life?

One last thing to think about!

Often depression is a way of thinking. It is indisputable that people who get depressed tend to have a very negative outlook on life.

If you tell them about a positive activity that might left them from their depression, they will tell you all the ways where it won't work.

Of course if you habitually think negatively and are putting out that emotional energy you're going to receive it back.

It might help to think about your physiology. Stand up straight. Smile. Walk faster. Go out and do something that's fun.

You may not feel better at first. For sure, you don't get rid of the depression overnight. You're learning how to tune in to your feelings. It takes practice, but it can be fun!t

And just a note- did you know that some experts say that 2 handfuls of cashews has the same therapeutic benefit as prozac? go to www.google.com and check it out for yourself!
